Councillors, today, took it’s first steps to repair some of the irregularities in it’s Planning Scheme by directing the CEO to fix two of the issues…
“This is the start, these will be the first of many directions Councillors will give the CEO to ensure the Planning Scheme reflects community expectations” Cr Adrian Raedel said “we will be progressively working through the submissions, I think it’s important for Residents to know the submissions they put in, are being looked at and are being taken seriously.”
Councillors, today directed the CEO to replace the current bushfire hazard mapping overlay in its draft regional planning scheme and include the State Government’s bushfire hazard mapping in its place.
It has also directed the environmental corridor designation be removed from the environment areas and corridors overlay map.
We will be looking at the Flood Hazard Mapping, the Environmental Overlays, Transition Areas and much more.
